El Five

I don't know where to start. This was such a fun place. We were helped by such a strong crew. They were extremely tentative, quick and professional. It was our first time there and we ordered quite a bit as a party of 8, and they kept our food coming at a steady pace where we did not feel rushed at all. Food was explained in detail to let us know what exactly we were trying. They asked us for food allergies before we could even tell them. Food was on a whole level of amazing. So many favorites. Duck Bastillas, highly recommend! This crew brought it! Look how wonderful even just the food presentation is! John, you made our night with your amazing smiling, excited personality, and positiveness. We are visiting Denver because we are scattering my dad's ashes and his name was John as well. You left a lasting impression with my family. Thank you for being a part of our healing journey here.

Our server was excellent. The atmosphere is great for a couples dinner. We really enjoyed the steak, lamb, and shrimp. Our favorite dish was the soup dumplings! Delicious. The pineapple cucumber collins was incredible. But do skip the snow crab (not flavorful). L5 margarita was good, but the foam is very salty.

All I can say is this place is the perfect example of what an elevated Mediterranean cuisine should be. This will forever be listed as one of my top 10 best restaurants in the country. My other half made reservations for us for a date night out in Denver. The place has an amazing atmosphere and such beautiful ambience full of life, you want to stay for hours there, not to mention; the view outside on the rooftop area. We first sat inside the restaurant, but asked the server to then sit us out with the beautiful view. It was a blood moon We ordered the paella Along with some appetizers and of course; cocktails! Evan; you were beyond amazing since the beginning offering us an exquisite and unique memory throughout the night. Collin; was phenomenal for the rest of the evening since we moved outside. Also, I’m allergic to capers and the boys were able to provide a perfect solution for it. They gave us such a good environment that they gave us a free round of drinks, and free dessert It couldn’t have been a more pleasant experience for us. We both work in the industry and it was an honor for us. It’s literally what we live for, amazing food and views like this. This life is what we work so hard for. Meeting amazing people, traveling and emjoying the people around you. It is the ultimate Disney experience for a kid but for us; adults. Thank you gentlemen. We will definitely go back.

Views, food, drinks and service: 10/10 Can’t beat the atmosphere and vibe, perfect for an upscale date night. Food was creative and really tasty. I had the Kauai shrimp, patatas bravas and the sea bass. The shrimp was my favorite but the red onion jam on the side of the sea bass was a perfect pairing. I had one drink, can’t recall the name (el bomb?? Something with bomb), it came with a lighted cinnamon stick and was really boozy. Loved it! Oh the service was excellent as well! Highly recommend El Five if you’re visiting Denver, like I was. And if you love a beautiful night light sky line view, this is the place for you.

Did the chefs table experience. I thought the food was very good, but I like smaller portions so I can try more things. Service was good and the city view in the evening really added to the vibe. I liked the lamb ribs and the paella was good. Unfortunately too stuffed to eat dessert. I was a little confused because I thought it would be a tasting menu, but after jumping that hurdle, the choices were straightforward and they added a bunch of surprise additions that really added to the experience.

Madison was an amazingly knowledgeable server. She knew the answer to all of my questions which I asked many. Her recommendations were spot on and the way she described drinks was exactly how they tasted! She was also very personable and fun, and we were lucky to have her as our server. Food was super tasty too! Some of them didn’t even need the ‘dips’ they came with as the mains were great by themselves. Love the vibes, and once you get to know this spot you could pick what kind of scenery you’re looking for and reserve a table whether it’s patio, facing the city or facing the mountain sunset.

This is a great location with a beautiful view of the Denver skyline. We spent our sixth year wedding anniversary on their balcony and felt right at home. The tapa plates are properly sized for two people to share and try different menu options together. The seafood paella was very well done, with many types of shellfish included. This is Spanish cuisine done right.

Great ambiance here! As soon as you enter, you get a gorgeous view of the city. The restaurant is dim lit and has an energetic vibe. Our table wasn’t ready so they sat us at the bar first—we ended up liking the bar area vibe and especially because our bartender Joe was super cool and made great cocktails, so we asked to remain at the bar for our dinner portion. There’s an outdoor patio so you can take pictures with the view! The Caviar Flight ($148) was delicious but the crispy pita was way too hard. Lebanese Garlic Dip, Shawarma Lamb Ribs, and Seafood Paella were pretty good—lamb ribs were flavorful! Wasn’t a fan of the Matzo Ball Soup Dumplings—the wrapping was too thick. Cocktails were awesome—we enjoyed the Pineapple Cucumber Collins and Dirty Gin Martini most! The Sangria was okay—it’s premade fyi.
